Meskipun media sosial mempunyai banyak manfaat positif, tetapi banyak pula dampak negatifnya. Seorang anak bisa menjadi malas berkomunikasi di dunia nyata. Mereka mempunyai tingkat pemahaman bahasa verbal yang buruk.
Media sosial juga membuat anak lebih mementingkan dirinya sendiri atau individualis. Mereka tidak sadar bahwa mereka harus berkomunikasi dan berempati dengan orang lain di dunia nyata. Bahaya selanjutnya, media sosial adalah tempat yang bisa mengakses semua jenis informasi meskipun itu adalah informasi baik atau buruk. Anak-anak yang merupakan pribadi yang mudah terpengaruh, tentu mereka akan lebih cepat terpengaruh dengan informasi-informasi buruk yang ada di media sosial.

Oleh karena itu, untuk menghindari bahaya dan ancaman media sosial, kita harus selalu mengawasi anak-anak kita. Berbagai bentuk pengawasan antara lain adalah memfasilitasi anak dengan komputer dan internet di rumah, sehingga mereka tidak perlu pergi ke warung internet untuk mengakses internet.
Letakkan komputer di ruangan yang mudah diawasi misalnya ruang tengah. Hal itu dimaksudkan untuk mencegah anak dari pengaksesan konten-konten pornografi dan materi berbahaya lainnya. Anda juga diharapkan selalu melakukan pengecekan browser ketika anak berhenti mengakses internet di komputer rumah.
Saya pikir hal itulah informasi dan himbauan yang bisa saya berikan kepada Anda.

The social media of very important in our life. Because now the most of all our daily activity use social media. So, studying social media in our life very important for us.
Social media is media made of websites like facebook, twitter, myspace and still many others. Social media refers to interaction among people in which they create, share and exchange information and ideas in social networking.

Social media have many benefits in our life. Benefits of social media :
1. Promotion media for the product or service.
2. Media to expand friendship.
3. As communications media. We earn to communicatewith domestic people and the foreigners.
4. Media share. We earn to share photo, data and information to many people easly and quickly.
5. Media to look for information.

But of course, if social media have many benefits so social media have bad effects too. The bad effects of social media such as :
1. The student usually be lazier because they are already addicted by social networking.
2. The danger of evil. Example : abduction.
3. The dangers of fraud.
4. Not all social networking users were nice and polite, so dangerous if the sentence bad imitated by children.
5. Discrupt communication in our real life. We will seldom communicate with family and friends, because we more passing the time with social media.

Let me introduce myself, my name is Septian Cahya from Technique Vocational School 1 Sumedang.
First of all, let’s thank and pray to Allah SWT. Who has given us mercy and blessing so we can come and gather in this place. Wish Allah pleasure with what we do today.
Salawat and salam always given to our prophet, Muhammad SAW the last massenger of Allah SWT. Who has guided us from the darkness, and from jahiliyah to islamiyah.
Thank to the Master of Ceremony (MC) who has given me a chance to deliver my speech. Before i begin the speech, i want to show some picture to you.

Social media have many benefits for youth ;
1. Sosial Media connects people. So we can communicate with people from different places.
2. Social media serve us a lot of information. Information can help to complete the task and increase knowledge
3. Sosial give us fun, like game online. In facebook, games can be played for free by anyone. It is useful for a relaxing, free from routine activities
4. It is for sharing features such as photos, documents, and voicemail
5. It is for Promoting products or service. Social media becomes an important role for young entrepreneurs in promote products and services. so the sale becomes very easy.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Internet certainly is a common thing for adolescents. Internet had been a part of their life. Even they can’t live without it. Actually, Internet has a lot of advantages. For example the use of Internet for teenagers, especially students is as a source of information and knowledge which is extremely helpful in learning activities at school. In addition, the Internet can also be a media communication for teenagers called social media. Through social networking, we can make a lot of friends and exchange information each other quickly. Even by internet, teenagers can develop their talents for example they can create their own website and develop it, make a short story and publish it on the blog for them who like writing and many more. Not only the students, parents and general public can also enjoy the advantages of the Internet, such as entertainment media, media for data exchange quickly, to communicate, expand horizons, and much more.
Ladies and gentlemen
Unfortunately, Internet does not always have good impacts for teenagers. Internet also gives bad effect. Teenagers often use internet for useless things, like opening the porn sites and doing violence. They do not know that it can influence their psychological, personality, and concentration in learning activities. In addition, nowadays the bad effects of internet are already seen in adolescents, such as online game addiction, and social network addiction like Facebook, Friendster, and Twitter that can make teenagers waste their time, money and endanger their health. Actually, the positive and negative effects of the Internet depend upon its user. If we use the internet with good responsibility and purpose, of course we will get good benefits too. However, if we use the Internet with bad intention, we will get useless things that can be a boomerang for us.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Based on what I have explained above, we can conclude that the Internet can provide a good or negative impact depending on the user. If we use for good things, such as doing tasks and expand horizons, it would be beneficial to us. However, if it is used for things that are not good, such as opening a porn site, and doing violence, it will give a negative effect for us.

Misalnya penggunaan internet bagi remaja, khususnya mahasiswa adalah sebagai sumber informasi dan pengetahuan yang sangat membantu dalam kegiatan belajar di sekolah. Selain itu, internet juga bisa menjadi media komunikasi bagi remaja disebut media sosial. Melalui jejaring sosial, kita bisa membuat banyak teman-teman dan pertukaran informasi satu sama lain dengan cepat. Bahkan dengan internet, remaja dapat mengembangkan bakat mereka misalnya mereka bisa membuat website mereka sendiri dan mengembangkannya, membuat cerita pendek dan mempublikasikannya di blog mereka yang suka menulis dan banyak lagi. Sayangnya, Internet tidak selalu berdampak baik bagi remaja. Internet juga memberikan efek buruk. Remaja sering menggunakan internet untuk hal-hal yang tidak berguna, seperti membuka situs porno dan melakukan kekerasan. Mereka tidak tahu bahwa hal itu dapat mempengaruhi psikologis mereka, kepribadian, dan konsentrasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Sebenarnya, efek positif dan negatif dari internet bergantung pada user-nya. Namun, jika kita menggunakan internet dengan niat buruk, kita akan mendapatkan hal-hal yang tidak berguna yang dapat menjadi bumerang bagi kita.
